A lovely collection of 8 silk ribbons inspired by, and created with, the spring flowers here in the valley where I live in the South of Spain.
All of the ribbons are approx. 2 metres long.
There are 6 ribbons which are 5cm wide and two ribbons are 2.5cm wide.
There is a pale blue ribbon; an olive ribbon dyed with local hibiscus flowers as is the narrow blue and green patterned ribbon; two yellow ribbons dyed with local flowers; two patterned ribbons dyed with wild chamomile flowers ~ one of my favourite dye flowers; and finally a pale purple ribbon inspired by the lavender growing everywhere.
When I collect flowers from the wild I only collect where they are abundant and only collect once from the same place. I also only pick exactly what I need.
The ribbons come rolled and in a box. They are pure silk and have soft hand frayed edges.
