I love this ribbon, it has a little bit of everything: cochineal, madder, logwood, pomegranate, dahlia petals.
And it reminds me of sweets from my childhood called Dolly Mixtures, anyone else remember them?
The ribbons are pure silk and are 5cm wide and approx. 2 metres long.
They have a bit of a crinkled surface due to the dyeing process ~ the silk is wrapped around the dye stuffs.
These wrinkles can be ironed out if you want a really flat ribbon. Dampen your ribbon and iron while still damp.
The ribbons have soft, hand frayed edges and are shipped rolled on a wooden peg.
