Very difficult to photograph and show the exact colours.
This is another ribbon dyed with fresh hibiscus and is a mixture of deep olive green, a rich grey blue and various other tones.
The photos make it seem as if it’s on a white background, it isn’t!
The background when it occasionally shows through is silver grey.
A gorgeous rich ribbon.
The ribbons are pure silk and are 5cm wide and approx. 2 metres long.
They have a bit of a crinkled surface due to the dyeing process ~ the silk is wrapped around the dye stuffs.
These wrinkles can be ironed out if you want a really flat ribbon. Dampen your ribbon and iron while still damp.
The ribbons have soft, hand frayed edges and are shipped rolled on a wooden peg.
