Four different yellow and gold silk ribbons.
Lots of plants produce yellow dye but each one is different. These yellows come from a variety of sources: local flowers - chamomile and Queen Anne’s lace; weld which we grow and dahlias from my mum’s garden in West Cork, Ireland.
Looking at the first photo from left to right, or the third from top to bottom:
Left: A lovely shade with a tinge of green depending on the light.
Second: A soft, lemon yellow.
Third: A nice, happy yellow.
Right: A rich golden yellow which is as near to gold as I can dye!
The ribbons come in various widths: 1.5cm, 5cm and 7.5cm. If you would like a different width please message me.
All ribbons are approximately 2 metres long.
They are pure silk and have soft, hand frayed edges.
They are posted rolled on wooden pegs to avoid wrinkles.
