These new patterned silk ribbons are made with a lighter weight silk making them floaty and romantic.
They are also a different size, 7.5 cm (3”) wide and 170cm (60”) long.
These ribbons were dyed with logwood bark - one of the few dyes which I buy.
I used a traditional Japanese Shibori technique to create the pattern.
The ribbons have soft, hand frayed edges and are sent rolled to avoid wrinkles.
